Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4: Start Date
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 ends on Friday, August 25 2023, at 2 AM ET.We know yet, that Season 4 will launch on the same day. Since there is usually a longer downtime at the end of a season, we assume that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will be released on August 25, 2023 at around 7 AM ET.

Fortnite: End Of Season Live Event
So far we don't know if there will be a live event for the Season 3 finale. However, the odds are pretty high.
Since we didn't get a live event at the end of Season 1 or Season 2, there are still a lot of open story questions. Also, since it was leaked that Season 4 will be the last season from Chapter 4, the theme of Chapter 5 must be slowly prepared. In addition, some leaks indicate that.
If you've been following the story in Fortnite a bit, you've probably done a secret mission or two where you have to bring Prisms to Trace.Once you've done that, he'll tell you that they belong to the machine located at the top of the ruin. Fortnite Season 4 Theme Teased
The new season will have something to do with a blood moon. A Fortnite creator has received a mysterious blood moon image in the mail that is related to the release of Chapter 4 Season 4. The picture came with a note that said, "Thank you for the addition to my collection." It was signed Kouji Datura, and "datura" is a flower that's commonly known as the Moonflower.

Also, according to some Doctor Slone audio logs available in-game, glyphs on the island indicate that an eclipse will happen soon. This eclipse could be an important part of the upcoming Fortnite season.
We don't know yet exactly how the Blood Moon eclipse will relate to the new season. However, Epic Games is also gradually releasing new teasers that hint a spy theme. They already changed their Twitter profile and header image and posted infrared images marked by red laser beams.
To one of the images they write the following words:

Helicopters Are Returning
According to Hypex, Epic Games have updated Fortnite's helicopters. You get a rocket launcher that fires every 2 seconds, dealing 35 damage to players and 450 damage to structures.
With that, it is very likely that they will return in Chapter 4 Season 4.
First Person Mode
According to a tweet from our favorite Fortnite leaker HYPEX, who has always been a reliable source of Fortnite leaks and news in the past, Epic Games has started developing a first-person camera mode.

And now more files have been found that clearly indicate a first-person view for the Chapter 4 map. However, it is likely that the feature will not come into play until Chapter 5.
Weapon Mods
It was leaked a while ago that Epic Games was working on weapon mods. Unfortunately, they haven't appeared in the game yet. HYPEX speculates that Epic is still working on finding the perfect way for players to use them, though its related tweet has since been deleted. Who knows, maybe weapon mods will finally come into play in Season 4 anyway.
Flying Mounts
A slightly older Twitter post from HYPEX also states that Epic is working on "rideable, flying animals" for Fortnite. Apparently, players will be able to boost the animal for more speed and fly on "idle". Idling would likely mean the mount could hover in the air to allow players to shoot more accurately or throw items. Earlier, an item that looked like a saddle in Fortnite was leaked. Presumably this item could be related to the flying mounts.
However, we assume that the flying mounts will only come into the game in a later season.
Chapter 4 Season 4 Map Changes & New POIs
With Chapter 4 Season 4 we won't get a completely new map this time, but as always there will be some changes on the island.
New Biomes
Since a new biome has been added in every season of Chapter 4 so far, we assume that this will also happen in the final season of Chapter 4. However, this is pure speculation so far. It is possible that Epic will add another desert biome to the map.
New POI
A new location called Relentless Retreat has already been leaked. The teaser came with the following words:

It seems like this place is a new estate and it's the players' job to rob it.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4: Battle Pass Skin Leaks
So far, only one Season 4 Battle Pass skin has been leaked, but it is not exactly recognizable. However, players suspect that it is this survey skin:

Epic often sends out skin surveys to players, from which 1-2 skins usually appear in the Battle Pass each season.
In addition, players suspect that in the next season, One Piece may finally come to Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass: New Weapons & Items
What would a new season be without new weapons and items? So far, there has never been a season in which not a single new weapon has been added. It's also possible that some old fan favourites will be taken out of the vault again. These mythic weapons have been leaked so far for Season 4:
