Several models of the iPhone 15 series have been sold out for weeks and delivery dates being bandied about even go into November. While this can be attributed to high demand, there is another reason behind this shortage - scalpers.

This is despite reports that these devices will see notable upgrades in camera hardware alongside the addition of Dynamic Island. This means iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will likely start at the same prices as their predecessors, coming in at $799 and $899, respectively.

Despite the slowing smartphone market, Apple seems to be confident in its ability to charge more for its iPhones this year. According to various rumors and reports, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max could see a price increase of $100 or even $200 compared to the iPhone 14 models -- in the US.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have a very similar design to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, with one exception—the bezels are expected to be significantly smaller, which will either make the phone smaller or the screen larger, depending on which rumor you want to believe.

Along with the iPhone 15 lineup, these new products will be available beginning Friday, September 22. The pro camera systems pack the equivalent of seven pro lenses and enable powerful new pro workflows — and for the first time, iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 5x Telephoto camera.
