We visited Sakarun beach in August 2014. Sadly the beach was unbelievably polluted - the amount of litter on the beach was overwhelming. We saw a razor and part of a syringe on the beach within the first couple of minutes. However my partner says I need to say that there was an on-shore breeze and that this may account for some of the debris.
