Supergirl had her first major live-action appearance in an eponymous 1984 feature film, though, for most people, it's better left forgotten. Featuring a lot of the same questionable quality of the latter two Christopher Reeve Superman movies, the film was a poorly received and campy affair. Full of corny jokes, outdated special effects and generally poor storytelling, the contrived plot stands.
