The lighter green bloom you can see covering one of the leaves (in the photograph above) is nothing to worry about, it's just a light covering of algae that can be gently wiped away with a piece of damp kitchen paper. I find that on some orchid leaves, algae can become stubbornly embedded and more difficult to remove that others.
