#1 · Aug 5, 2015 Hello all, I have a 1960 small ranch style house in Dallas, TX with an attached 2 car garage. The previous owner enclosed part of the garage to make a laundry room which can be accessed from the main interior of the home. The floor for the laundry is raised approximately 6" from the garage floor resting on a wooden enclosed frame.
